Mark the concentred hazels that enclose
Yon old grey Stone, protected from the ray
Of noontide suns:—and even the beams that play
And glance, while wantonly the rough wind blows,
Are seldom free to touch the moss that grows
Upon that roof, amid embowering gloom,
- William Wordsworth
A druidic gathering amongst the trees. Dampened footsteps on a carpet of moss. A bee floats mid-air. Strengthen your roots. As above, so below. This collection is intended to call in a sense of grounding, focus, and connectedness when you feel untethered or fragmented. The Sacred Grove is a gentle, honeyed blend with hints of moss and woods. All products in The Sacred Grove line are hand-crafted on Wednesdays under the watchful eye of Odin, the Allfather balanced at the centre of the cosmos.

Sacred to the Druids, mistletoe is known for its protective and gestative qualities. Mistletoe was ceremoniously harvested by the Druids on either Midsommer, Midwinter, or the sixth day of the moon's cycle. Mistletoe is a parasitic plant that grows in treetops and survives by feeding off the nourishment of its host. It is this unique ability to thrive in the liminal space between sky and soil, afloat yet rooted, that adds to mistletoe's magical connotations.
Oakwood
Quercus alba/robur
Elements: Fire & Earth | Ruling Planet: Jupiter
The king of the forest. Strong, enduring, and balanced with deep roots. Oak is associated with the gods of rain and thunder in several pantheons. Druids gathered amongst ancient oak groves to perform their rituals, and in fact the word Druid may derive from a Celtic word for 'knower of the oak'. Oak trees are also known to be the dwellings of the fae, so please remember to show reverence whenever calling in the power of the mighty oak.
